HI! I'm HollyG.
I got adopted first, so I get to say HEY first. I'm Holly Golightly. You know, after the effervescent, fun-loving, slightly irresponsible protagonist of Breakfast at Tiffany's. Most call me HollyG, though. I think I'm older than my "brother." I shouldn't use quotes. He is my brother, but we're not of the same litter. Meowther can explain that. (I'm sure you figured it out, but just in case, Meowther = Jett. She's awesome.
Me? I do everything with all I've got. I play hard. I eat fast. I run faster. When I sleep, I’m out. Like really out, so that’s when Meowther clips my nails. I jump, too. I love jumping! That's why she had to be the 82-inch tower. It's AWESOME!!! I'll ask her to include a video of us playing on it. I like boxes. No, I LOVE boxes. They're the best.
If you stick with this blog for a while, you'll get to know me and my complete awesomeness. (I'm not humble or shy by the way). See the My Gallery below. People LOVE me. I'm the one they notice when Meowther takes us out in the stroller.
Gotta go. Bug on the window. It might try to break in.
Hey. I'm Orion.
Don't be fooled. I'm quieter. I'm shy. But once you get to know me, watch out!
So my full name is Orion Ziggy Stardust. Meowther was undecided about the two names, Orion or Ziggy Stardust. Orion because I'm 99% black (I have stray white hairs on my chest) and so is the cat in Men in Black. You know the one: it holds the Arquillian Galaxy in its belt (get it? Orion's Belt. Cat collar.) Anyway, Meowther thought being all black was kind of magical, plus my heterochromia, so she wanted something to reflect that. But...Meowther also likes David Bowie and thought Ziggy Stardust would be a nice tribute. So, I got both names (although most of her friends on FaceBook said to go with Ziggy.) Whatever. Most often she calls me Little Man.
Although HollyG likes to say she's older, we're the same age. Meowther found her first and then found me two months later. It didn't take long for us to hit it off. We play well. Sometimes we fight, but nothing serious. Just sibling stuff, like when I wake her up from a deep sleep. (if kittens could giggle, you'd hear me doing so right now). One of my favorite games is when HollyG thinks I can't see her hiding under the covers or one of the rugs. I just POUNCE on her and there's not much she can do. I'll ask Meowther to post a video. It's pretty funny. Well, I think it is.
Not sure what else to say. I like a quiet life: eat, play, eat, nap, eat, play. I'm not big on when we go out on the stroller, but it's better than the car rides. I’m really don’t like car rides.
I better go check on HollyG and the bug. She can't have all the fun (I'm really good at taking toys away from her. <kitty giggle>)
Oh, and it's not just HollyG's Gallery. It's of us both. Figures she'd say "My Gallery." <kitty eye roll>
The Tweedles: The Gallery.
We are The Tweedles. Although we're from different litters and different cat-moms, we act like twins. We're inseparable. Meowther (you know, Jett) doesn't want to label either of us "Dee" or "Dum," so we're just The Tweedles.
